Liberty’s Gears® Extreme 5W-40 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil is a 100% superior synthetic base oil formulated into a patented complex mixture of extreme pressure lubricants combined with a “High Performance Coating Technology” that is engineered to perform under extreme pressure & heat, reduce operating temperature, enhance engine performance & horsepower, increase part and engine life, minimize friction & wear, and maximize fuel efficiency. This unique formula also provides continuous protection by dispersing and clinging to critical nareas without creating any drag, providing both start up and continuous benefits while protecting against corrosion. This proprietary technology is attracted to areas of heat and friction. As pressures increase with RPM or load, the special lubricants combined with the active “Coating” technology can form a self-lubricating “Ceramic” film in high load and heat areas providing critical protection that actively seeks out areas needing increased lubrication and at times not simply reducing or eliminating wear but can also help prevent micro-welding and galling.
Applications: Liberty’s Gears® Extreme 5W-40 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil has been approved for all street and off road vehicles including high performance and all forms of racing, powerboats and other stationery and mobile equipment. It is a high performance and specially engineered engine oil for heavy duty diesel and gasoline engines operating under all service conditions, including all-season use in diesel powered or a mix of gasoline and diesel powered equipment. It can be recommended for the service requirements of virtually all diesel and gasoline engine manufacturers and for both newer and older engines, including L.P.G and natural gas engines. Specifically designed for today’s high performance diesels, including diesels with oil fired injectors and turbocharged engines and low-emissions diesel engines equipped with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter. Keeps engines and pistons clean and soot suspended in oil despite longer drain intervals. Liberty’s Gears® Extreme 5W-40 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil meets or exceeds the following service classifications: API: CK-4, also backward compatible CJ-4 & older API service categories. Fully compatible with all other synthetic based and petroleum based engine oils.
Directions for use: Follow engine manufacturer’s SAE weight recommendations and all other OEM specifications. On all new engines, do not add Liberty’s Gears® Extreme 5W-40 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil until after engine break-in or 1st oil change. DO NOT USE AS BREAK-IN OIL.
